A new breed of male cat is being dubbed “Capricorn” for its unique hairstyle and cap, a trait that could make the cat more popular with some women than others.
A male cat named “Ducky” has a shaved head and long legs, a male cap, and is named after a character in Disney’s hit animated film “Frozen.”
Ducky is the only cat named for a Disney character in the United States, according to a blog post on the website Cats.com.
The blog post explains the origin of the name.
Ducky is a fictional character and is the first male to be named after one.
“He is a cat who has a special kind of hair and body, so naturally he is a Capricorns, meaning a male with a long tail,” the blog post says.
“Ducky’s hair is so long that it can reach over his body and he is able to walk and jump as a cat without being afraid of being crushed by the floor.”
Dixie’s name, the blog says, comes from a story told by Disney producer Brian Whelan.
The website says that Dixie’s hair has been featured on television shows including “The Bachelor” and “The Biggest Loser.”
Duckworth, a 13-year-old male Capricope, was born with a genetic mutation that causes the hair to grow in unusual places, making him more susceptible to hypogonaemia, the suffocation syndrome, which affects up to one in 10,000 newborns.
Duckmore’s hairline is shorter than the average male’s, but the breeders believe it will help Ducky retain his hair as he grows up.
The blog post also notes that a study published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism found that male capricorns have higher testosterone levels and are more likely to be in good health.
